Ed O’Neill is an architect, designer and maker.

On top of working freelance as a fully qualified Architect, I find time to develop my carpentry skills in the form of small-scale domestic furniture.

Informing these pursuits is a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering and a continued interest in urban design and cities.

Design Philosophy

My approach to design is rational, methodical and detail oriented. I am a purist but not a minimalist and try to approach design with the same rigorous ideals, no matter what the scale.

Frank Lloyd Wright, Peter Zumthor and the mid-century case study houses have long provided inspiration for me.

Background

I grew up in Brunei, Oman, Syria and Holland but Devon is where my roots are. This nomadic upbringing no doubt triggered my interest in the built environment.

I graduated from the Welsh School of Architecture with First class Honours in both Bachelors and Masters degrees - moving on from Cardiff to Bristol before arriving in London in 2022.
